Ninja Express is a CGI comedy, action show with lots of slapstick fun and bags of character aimed at 6-11 yr olds.
I produced the key art images and a comprehensive 42 page asset toolkit to provide to the channels and licensees around the world who would be launching and promoting the new show. With character designs effectively being quite spindly silhouettes, a bold, distinctive, visual brand was developed to give them more prominence, having identified the most successful visual cues in the title sequence, and reflecting the overall frenetic dynamism of the show and characters.
With regular communication with the production studio it was possible to ensure character pose and prop artwork was as relevant and adaptable as possible for promotional use; in advertising, packaging, or apparel, featuring enough variety for numerous combinations.
