The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is a very concentrated environment with several thousand shows vying for attention and ticket sales each year so it's vital to have an eye-catching poster and promotional image for the programme that will stand out amongst the rest, and a flyer that looks interesting and engaging enough to accept from the many street flyerers.
Themes and material for an Edinburgh standup show are often still taking shape right up until the last week so a distinctive title often helps inform the design.
